Daily Oracle Card

Happy Memorial Day, Friends.

I'd like to dedicate today's Daily Oracle Card to all of those who were killed in or as the result of a battle or war (in any and all lifetimes).

I encourage you to take a moment to consider the lineage that you came from today, particularly those who are to be honored today. Try to recall the people, the lives, the stories of these people. After all, their memories are now in your DNA. Information that you will glean from considering and connecting to your past will aid you like tools on your path. Remember too, that these deceased loved ones support you from Spirit. They surround and protect you and your entire family. Reach out, call out to them, and be open to receive their messages, guidance, and gifts.

The theme of today's card may apply directly to you to an experience that you've had either in this or prior lifetimes, or it could indicate someone in your line; your lineage. Take some time to consider the situation with compassion. Your healing attention in your mind alone can help to heal this painful past, simply by holding that intention.

Today's Daily Oracle Card was pulled from Doreen Virtue and Brian L. Weiss, M.D.'s, 'Past Life Oracle Cards.'

ORPHAN
You drew this card because you had one or more past lives as an orphan. This is creating a current-life abandonment fear for you. In those lives--where you didn't have your mother5 and father's protection, love, or support--you developed great strength and inner reliance, which continues to help you in this life. However, you may have also developed survival skills that are double-edged. These coping mechanisms help you get by, but they also blunt your heart and emotions.
Most likely, this card is a reminder to acknowledge that your true Mother-Father is God. You're also reminded that you have a family-of-choice consisting of friends and other loved ones, including your pets. In spiritual truth, it's impossible to be an orphan. Your true Heavenly Parent is always with you. If you do tend to isolate yourself, you may benefit from seeking compassionate support from a 12-step Emotions Anonymous group, or a qualified counselor.

With Love and Blessings,

Nicole
